It is probably more important than waxing it, especially if you live in an area where the roads are treated with salt in the winter. I have added car washing to my weekly routine. I use quarters that I get back from going through drive up windows to wash the car each week. It does not cost much and only takes about five minutes per week, but it will add so much life onto the car. But back to car polishing.
